THIS EVENT IS LITERALLY SO HARD. i have 2.2k gems rn. i am a f2p who made exactly one purchase for an outfit ive wanted for 2 yrs. ive played this game for nearly 4 yrs. last yr, the anniv outfit was also tag collection. i completed it. it cost me 3.3k gems. this yr, it costs 4.4k. this is ridiculous. i am triggered. the worst part is i actually, really couldve afforded it. my broke ahh couldve gotten this outfit if i didn't buy the first anniv outfit (girl swinging from chandlier). its pissing me off so bad. i rly wanted esther's outfit but i did all my calculations and despite my best efforts, ill be abt 500 gems off no matter what i do. if the outfit wasnt so expensive, theres a high likelihood i wouldve been able to afford it and its just so sad. also wish shop items are stupidly overpriced. there are SO MANY outfit there that ff gave for free, such as the rosemary outfit, wisteria outfit, and some outfits are like 3x, 4x, 5x their original value, such as the caged bird outfit which, btw, was originally under 800 gems. i literally spent oh idk maybe 1.3k on it or more? dont get me wrong, i think its a great outfit, but that inflation is just wrong. and can we talk abt gem boxes? why are they selling sketches for 4 star outfits in boxes? and why are the designs so absurdly expensive? one of the dresses will cost like 100 gems, plus whatever amoutn it takes just to get the sketch. and the best part? THE OUTFIT IS AT THE GIFT SHOP. there's no logic. and im still not done. the boutique sales were, are, and likely always will be a joke. i mean seriously, what is 5% off going to do? i get that it allows players to obtain new dresses and such before they complete the lvl but the stuff on sale is next to unaffordable. what is a 6 gems discount going to do for hair that's 300+ gems? nobody wants to buy that and for good reason. flash sales used to be like 30% off but gone are those days. the only thing that wasnt disappointing this yr was the gem giveaway bc hundreds of gems just for playing the game was rly nice. it rly cushioned the fall. i was super thankful to ff for being so generous, so benevolent... and then i saw the difficulties of all the events so idk anymore. LB also pisses me off but im not going to vent abt it here. i just hope that these horrible events either become easier but i already know its basically not saying anything. ff has never improved. they prolly never will. but if they do, this game has a lot of potential. i just really, really miss how they used to be.
