Why do some people get more followers than others?

I’m really trying to gain followers, as I really want to get higher look book ranking, but whatever I do, ends up with my followers staying the same. I follow more people than follow me, but it’s always the people who only follow a few people who have loads of followers, and their the people who will ignore you if you ask them to follow you back. Does anyone have advice??

Piper mclean dear it's hard to get them and I mostly gained them buy getting on top ten for more than 5 times and will get there this week to so the new people who join can follow you. Other is friends tell people to follow for follow and be friends with them and the looks you make if they're so pretty that people think you deserve they're following you than they will but top 10 is most effective (not always we get there a lot like 20 but 5-8 followers per week not that bad actually so hope this helped dear 😘🥰).
