I was about to press the Lizzy lottery button when it changed to Queen and I pressed the button at the same time. I was like, "what happened?" and I realized I'd lost a hundred gems. I didn't press near the top to select it and don't know how the screen changed, but these things happen often enough that a little confirmation popup for spending gems would help.
